Adventures with God
Adventures with God is an 8 Book Series. This series is not chronological and all lessons are independent of each other, so that children who don't attend regularly or are new to the class immediately feel connected and able to participate. The story-based approach helps children gain an understanding of the Bible in a way that is consistent with childhood learning styles. And since it is designed for anyone to easily pick up and use, it provides a greater opportunity to recruit new volunteers.

Book 3 is now finished with subsequent books being released every three months. We’re currently giving a discounts on any orders placed through first printing! We anticipate selling each book through the first print run for $85 (Under $7 per lesson).

Missio is proud to announce the completion of Book One of an Eight-book children's series. The series is for churches and community groups looking for ways to empower their children's ministry leaders without expensive, full-scale production curriculum. Adventures with God is a story-based curriculum that contains everything you need to walk your children through more than 100 Bible stories.
Each book contains 13 lessons (165 pages in Book 1) that includes enough activities for classes that range from 20-90 minutes in length. Lessons are designed to be used by volunteers or paid staff in a typical Children's Sunday class for grades K-5. We've included perforated pages - so photo copies of all the material can be easily made for each child and parent.

What can I say… I love teaching kids about Jesus! I have taught Children’s Church or Sunday school at the same church for more than 30 years. When my grandkids, or other kids come to my home, which is often, it’s time for fun! Between tea parties, hunting lizards, hide and go seek, or baking cookies together, everything we do is meant to teach the kids about life, love, friendship, and God. This view is carried over into how I believe we should teach our kids. Except in class, the same exuberance and fun revolve around a Bible story. Kids need a way of learning that is active, and to focus on one simple idea at a time. For years I would just sit down to study scripture and a flood of creative ideas for kids would come to me. Slowly, I began creating each lesson, then trying them out on the kids, and twenty years later . . . poof, a cohesive curriculum for kids came together. If you choose to try it out, I pray that it blesses you as much, and even more, than it has blessed us, our teachers, and kids. It works! It’s quick and easy and points children to a God who loves them more than they will ever know.
